I didn't end up pursuing the career working with animals I dreamt of as a child. Due to limiting beliefs that I could not do well in a University program. I did not follow my early dream of becoming a Veterinarian. 

​What always helped to keep my spirits alive was having animals in my home. I have been communicating with animals, even before I became a professional animal communicator. In my own way.

I became a foster parent for a local cat rescue. I was able to transform the most fearful, anxious, and sometimes aggressive cats with my calm and patient demeaner. At one point, I had four kittens orphaned by their mothers. I was bottle feeding all four of them every two hours around the clock. They were crawling all over me to get to the bottles. I also had a little kitten who was so sick he was about to be put down. I asked if I could have another twenty four hours to see if his health would improve. I wouldn't give up on him. I kept in constant connection, and slept on the floor with him. The rescue, and the vet found it remarkable that I was able to bring him back with energy and care. He was such a little trouper, and he got so attached to us, my partner and I adopted him. Knowing that I helped save and nurture so many kittens through my care is so touching. I have so many stories of kittens that I helped to transform it makes my heart smile!

 

I love dogs, and committed my time volunteering for a dog rescue that rescues dogs from Korea. Their mission is to help shut down dog meat farms by helping farmers find another livelihood, as long as they agree to surrender their dogs to the rescue. I committed my time by driving dogs to their new homes from my local airport.
